The Finnish boxer Olli Mäki has a shot at the 1962 World Featherweight title. Immensely talented and equally modest, Olli's small town life is transformed when he is swept into national stardom and suddenly regarded as a symbol of his country. There's only one problem: Olli has just fallen in love. Olli Mäki will be a legend, but not through a victory.

Juho Kuosmanen

Film director, actor, screenwriter, and producer. He studied film at the Aalto University's School of the Arts, Design and Architecture, in 2004—2014. His debut feature The Painting Sellers was selected for Cannes Film Festival's Cinefondation and received five nominations for the National Finnish Awards, the Jussies. His second feature film The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki (2016) received the top prize of Un certain regard in Cannes as well as a Jussi as best feature film of the year. In 2019—2020 the director has been working in Russia on Compartment No. 6, a film based on a novel by Rosa Liksom, starring Yuri Borisov.
