A young man named Kostik disappears on the New Year night. His mom and ex-girlfriend begin a search operation: they paste up notices, go around morgues, scour the woods and find themselves in a police station. Their love for the missing man is driving them to desperate measures.

Irina Volkova
Director, screenwriter and film editor. She graduated from the Higher Courses of Screenwriters and Directors (Vladimir Fenchenko's class). She made the documentary My Kieslowski in 2006, which was entered into Kinotavr's competition. She made two features, Dialogues (2013) and Treasure (2016). As an editor, she worked on the documentary Women of the Gulag, which was short-listed for the 91st Academy Awards. Since 2010, she has taught editing at the Higher Courses of Screenwriters and Directors with Vladimir Fenchenko. She has been managing a directing class with Pavel Lungin and Natalia Ryazantseva since 2015.
